Video: Sea Lion Tosses Fisherman Across Ship

Sea lions aren’t typically thought of as dangerous, but these sea mammals are not to be trifled with. In this video filmed by a group of commercial fishermen, the crew cuts free a sea lion trapped in a fishing net. These underwater predators will occasionally swim into nets to eat as many fish as possible before making a hasty escape, but they are sometimes hauled up with the rest of the catch. This one did not appreciate the experience, and took out its anger on one of the anglers and the boat’s dog.
