Video: The “Redneck Obliterator” Minigun

Necessity is the mother of invention, and in this case, it’s a need for more firepower.

The six-barreled M134 Minigun chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO can fire about 2,000 to 6,000 rounds per minute. However, a cursory Google search finds that even a “cheap” transferable M134 goes for well over six figures, so it is not exactly a bargain bin gun. However, one enterprising gun owner determined that six SKS rifles strapped together in a gatling-style contraption will also do the trick. You unfortunately don’t get to see it fired, but Ian McCollum of Forgotten Weapons does show off all the interesting parts of this “Redneck Obliterator” in the video below.
