Video: Goliath Grouper Handlined from Shore
OutdoorHub Reporters 02.23.15
Pulling in a 400-pound goliath grouper by hand is no easy feat. Goliath groupers are a massively powerful fish and they have been known to attack anglers, divers, and even small sharks that get in their way—or look like food. Like underwater bears, groupers are known for their curiosity and will attempt to eat about just everything, which in this case was a jack crevalle for bait.
The grouper was later caught and released, but not before giving the fisherman a scornful look for taking its dinner away.
