The 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25 devastated many parts of the mountainous South Asian country. Current reports estimate that there are least 3,800 dead, and the number is climbing.
The quake also triggered an avalanche on Mount Everest, which was captured from a terrifying first-person view by German climber Jost Kobusch. You can see his footage below. It contains strong language.
The avalanche alone claimed at least 17 lives, and rescue efforts for Nepalese families and Everest climbers alike are still ongoing.
