Video: ‘Kingsman’ Inspired Umbrella Slingshot

Sometimes when you watch a really good movie, you tend to obsess over it a little. If you’re Joerg Sprave, the man behind YouTube’s popular Slingshot Channel, that obsession usually involves some sort of overbuilt slingshot. Taking cues from Kingsman: The Secret Service, a British spy action-comedy, Joerg decided to build the strongest umbrella slingshot he could.

Naturally, he modified the “umbrella” into something resembling more of a spear or medieval ballista-bolt and then fired it out of a massive stationary slingshot. He also goes on test some other stunts used in the movie.

Spoiler alert: there are no umbrella slingshots in Kingsman, sadly.
