Photos: Deer Photobombs Everything This Photographer Does
OutdoorHub Reporters 11.03.15
The last thing that any photographer wants during a photo shoot are unexpected interruptions, but when it’s wildlife, it also presents an unique opportunity as well. While shooting pictures of children and their parents in Louisiana’s Sam Houston Jones State Park, Megan Rion of Imagine That Photography found her shoots constantly interrupted by a curious deer. The animal dropped by so much that Rion nicknamed it “Maggie.”

“We’ve seen her in about five different photo shoots,” Rion told ABC News. “I didn’t even know she was going to show up at the spot where I like to take pictures at.”

The photographer says that the young doe was fairly popular with the locals and is believed to be a rescued deer, which explains why it behaves so tamely around humans. Instead of being frustrated, Rion says the families she was working with were elated at the deer’s visit, and happily included her in the photos as well.
Rion didn’t even mind the deer eating some of the scenery she had brought along for the photo shoot.
