Video: Bear Makes “Art” by Painting with Its Paws

This bear is selling paintings for more than most human artists can.

This video of a bear painting comes to us from the Predator Center animal sanctuary in the northern Finnish town of Kuusamo. Juuso. The bear in the video lives in the animal sanctuary along with other injured predators. The sanctuary owners are using the bear’s artistic talents to raise money to support their efforts. Juuso’s art is pretty abstract, but the funds raised by the painting go towards keeping the shelter running. In case you were wondering the paintings are not cheap, and one even sold for 2,000 euros or about $2,172.

As of right now all of the paintings are sold out, so if you want one you will have to wait until next year until Juuso wakes up from hibernation.
