Video: Slingbow Fisherman Catches Large Asian Carp

Slingbows may not be mainstream yet, but there’s no denying that more and more hunters and fishermen are looking into the device to harvest game. In this video, an eagle-eyed bowslinger lands a perfect shot on a hefty Asian carp just as it leaps out of the water.
We’ve seen bigger, but this is still a very impressive catch on a bowsling.
If only more people liked actually eating Asian carp, we might be able to make a dent on this invasive species. Unfortunately, many anglers agree that Asian carp tastes like a combination of fishy tire rubber and soggy cardboard. It is definitely a fish you have to prepare properly.
