Bringing .50 caliber guns to a USPSA match is definitely not for everyone. Even if you have the massive wrists needed to handle the recoil and muzzle jump of firing one of these massive handguns, this will still be one of the pricier matches in terms of ammo expended. In the video below, David Starr runs a few stages with a .500 Smith & Wesson Magnum revolver as well as a Desert Eagle in .50AE.
Judging by how high that muzzle flipped, the .500 S&W was definitely the bigger beast in this match.
