Video: Rare Piebald Fawn Spotted in Tennessee

Have you ever seen a piebald deer in the wild?
These white-and-brown-spotted deer may not be as rare as true albinos, but running into one is still a special occurrence. This piebald fawn was spotted in Tennessee while browsing with another, normal-colored fawn. Piebald fawns have a lower chance of surviving in the wild, as they are more likely to be born with deformities or attract predators with their unusual coloration. This only makes adult piebalds that much rarer.
Some states protect piebald and albino from hunting. This is mainly due to their rarity, and, in some cases, cultural significance.
