Minnesota Mall Attacker Taken Out by Good Guy With a Gun
OutdoorHub Reporters 09.19.16
The man who stopped the knife yielding lunatic at the Crossroads Center mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota, on Saturday has been identified as Jason Falconer, an NRA-certified firearms instructor and avid 3-gun competitor. You’re welcome, gun control advocates.
Jason Falconer is the former police chief of Albany Police Department and works part-time as an officer for the Avon Police Department, but Falconer’s shooting background goes much deeper than that. To call Jason, who was off-duty at the time, just a “police officer who can shoot well,” would be an understatement of massive proportions. You can check out Falconer’s bio at Tactical Advantage, LLC.

In short, it talks about how Jason has attended some of the best firearms training schools in the United States, and is continuously researching and developing new methods for firearms training.
Take a closer look, and you will see that Jason’s actions on Saturday were heroic, and a great example of why he has such a strong passion for what he does. Falconer is a firearms instructor who emphasizes the most realistic training methods possible, and he wants all of his clients who train with him to be prepared for an occurrence exactly like the one he faced that day: ready to stand up to an attacker at any moment, or secure the safety of their family at home or in public.
