Leupold & Stevens, Inc., Pair Up with Portland Timbers to Support Soldiers

Leupold & Stevens, Inc., has partnered with the Portland Timbers on the Saves for Soliders program. For every save the Timbers make at home this year, Leupold will make a donation to charities that support U.S. Special Forces groups and their families.
The Oregon-based optics manufacturer has been a long-time provider of riflescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes and laser rangefinders to the United States military. When presented with the opportunity to support the hometown Major League Soccer team and provide assistance to the American warfighter, Leupold didn’t hesitate.
“We proudly support the brave men and women of our Armed Forces, especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice,” said Rob Morrison, vice president of global marketing for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “Together, we stand united with the Portland Timbers’ fans and supporters, and promise to never forget these warfighting heroes and their families.”
For the Timbers, this program is a way for the team to acknowledge military personnel for their service and to thank the families for their support.
