Preview of New Alpen Optics Products in 2012 at SHOT Show

You can hear the sound of guns firing off in the background on the range for the unofficial first day of SHOT Show, where media members got to go to the gun range. Alpen Optics Marketing Vice President Vickie Gardner and CEO Tim Gardner step out of the sun into the shade of their booth to quickly run down the new line of Alpen Optics products on the market in 2012.

In this video, the Gardner’s introduce their new 8 X 30 binoculars, touting the close inter-pupilary distance, meaning the eye pieces are built closer together for children, women or anybody with a small face. Tim Gardner discusses the redesigned eye pieces and internal prism-housing in the APEX XP (Extreme Performance) series that replaces the old line of APEX binoculars. And also a quick word on rifle scopes, and pink binoculars – made to raise support for breast cancer awareness.
