Testride Joins Cabela’s NTC in Green Bay on Saturday

TESTRIDE comes to Green Bay, Wisc. in partnership with the big Cabela’s National Team Championship (NTC) walleye tournament in town. On Saturday, May 31, TESTRIDE offers complimentary rides in Evinrude-powered Ranger Boats from the Metro Boat Launch at 102 Bay Beach Road from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Whether a purchase is top of mind or only a dream of “someday,” the rides are free to the public and fun for the whole family. The first 50 attendees that take a TESTRIDE receive a free logo’d hat.

“Lots of folks enjoy getting to experience the quality boats and motors many of the anglers use,” shared Wendy Heim of Pamp’s Outboards, co-sponsor of the event and local Ranger Boats dealer. “There are great incentives with TESTRIDE, much like boat show season. It’s really worth it to come. Take a look at our dealer inventory that we have in stock or order a custom-made boat to their liking.” Up to $1000.00 in purchase incentives are available with the sponsor’s products for TESTRIDE participants, including Mustang PFDs or gift cards from sponsors Evinrude and Ranger Boats for logo’d apparel.

Liddle Marketing Company organizes the events and brings professional anglers on the water with their gear. That helps folks get up close and ask questions about all the options for upgrades, electronics, trolling motors, etc. “TESTRIDE builds enthusiasm and confidence for a future boat purchase,” shared George Liddle, President of LMC and Ranger Boats’ manufacturer’s representative. “It doesn’t matter if that purchase is in the next month or two or the next year or two, it helps to get on the water and see how the boats and motors perform, and how the pros like to rig them.”

Saturday is the final day of the Cabela’s NTC, the weigh-in is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. at the East Lot of Lambeau Field. Baskets will hold big and beautiful walleyes for spectators to see, and the payout is impressive with over $250,000 in cash prizes. First place cash prize is $30,000 PLUS a new Evinrude-powered Ranger Boat valued at $60,000. The Cabela’s NTC tournament is a two-person team event. Teams qualified throughout the country competing in grassroots tournaments the previous year.
