Weatherby Adds Youth, Waterfowler Models to PA-08 Pump Shotgun Line

Weatherby’s PA-08 pump shotgun line now includes models designed specifically for youth and waterfowl hunters.
Available in 20 gauge, the PA-08 Upland Youth model features a short 22-inch barrel and a 12 ½-inch length of pull that is ideal for many younger shooters. A walnut stock with gloss finish makes the PA-08 Upland Youth eye-catching as well.
A 12-gauge shotgun, the PA-08 Waterfowler 3.0 sports the Mothwing Marsh Mimicry camouflage pattern on its stock. Utilizing the moth’s biological patterns, Mothwing camo is designed to mimic and disappear into the surrounding environment. A special dipping process adheres the camo directly to stock surfaces, providing exceptional durability. The injection-molded stock is lightweight and built to last as well. Hunters can choose between two barrel lengths: 26 or 28 inches.

The Waterfowler 3.0 model offers the concealment and performance needed for a successful marshland hunt.”
The PA-08 Upland Youth’s metalwork is gloss black to provide a distinctive look, while the Waterfowler 3.0’s metalwork is matte black to prevent glare.
Both models have a three-inch chamber. Constructed of aircraft-grade alloys to reduce overall weight without compromising strength, the CNC-machined receiver is designed to improve the balance of the shotgun for better handling. A chrome-plated bolt helps prevent the action from binding and eases operation. The drop-out trigger system can be quickly removed for easy cleaning and reassembled. A push-button safety is conveniently mounted on the trigger guard for quick acquisition and ease of use.
The PA-08 Upland Youth and Waterfowler 3.0 have a chrome-lined barrel to withstand years of high-volume shooting, while lengthened forcing cones help reduce felt recoil. A vented top rib dissipates heat and helps facilitate target acquisition, as does the brass bead front sight.
Three application-specific choke tubes (Improved Cylinder, Modified and Full) are included with each shotgun. The screw-in Integral Multi-Choke System is compatible with the Briley thread pattern and allows shooters to tailor their shot patterns for specific needs. All Weatherby chokes feature an easy-to-use identification system so the user can quickly identify the proper choke for the shooting situation.
