Tacprogear BLACK Launches New HBAV Body Armor Carrier System

Tacprogear BLACK, the exclusive line of American-made products offered by Tacprogear, unveils their new HBAV body armor carrying system constructed from GRID-HERCULES™ engineered material.
The Tacprogear BLACK HBAV vest design is based on the SPEAR/BALCS shaped platform and is available through Tacprogear BLACK with either FAT approved military fragmentation soft armor inserts or NIJ 0101.06 certified level IIIA soft armor inserts. The HBAV carrier is also designed to hold any of Tacprogear’s new NIJ certified hard armor plates for front and back rifle protection in a variety of sizes, shapes and configurations. The carrier is also designed to be compatible with a variety of tactical accessories, including side armor plates, groin protection, biceps protection and throat and collar protection. The vests are also compatible with MOLLE equipment and other auxiliary components.
The HBAV vest is constructed from GRID-HERCULES engineered material from Absecon Mills, Inc. The advanced textile fabric is coated with a highly specialized polymer coating that enhances the physical properties of the unit, including impact and abrasion resistance, heat and flame resistance, tear and tensile strength, flame retardation and water resistance.
The Tacprogear BLACK HBAV vest is available in Black, Tan, Coyote Brown and Ranger Green. It will soon be available in MultiCam®, MultiCam® Black and the Kryptek line of camouflage patterns. Available in sizes small to extra-large. Pre-orders are being taken now.
Tacprogear manufactures the HBAV in their new manufacturing facility in Miami, Florida, USA as part of the BLACK line of tactical gear.
