Hunt Zone Signs

Nothing will slam “safety” into the forefront of your mind like public land hunting with youngsters. Aside from securing quality hunting grounds, you must also deal with the potential for close encounters with fellow hunters or recreational target shooters.
Hunt Zone Signs can provide some peace of mind in unique hunting situations that warrant tipping off your location. Spring turkey is a prime example. Today many hunters are incorporating strutting Tom decoys in their sets, complete with real tail fans and wings. I’ve used them and at 25 yards, they are amazingly convincing! Safety is very important, and in these situations you need to be diligent in your efforts to alert other hunters to your location.
Conceived by Brian Fisher, host and executive producer of Fisher’s ATV World, Hunt Signs follow suit to the typical construction warning signs we all see in and around our communities, but in a smaller form factor. They are 6”x 6” x .050” thick, and fit easily into your pack or vest. I’ve found they also fit in some pant cargo pockets as well.
This past spring, while turkey hunting with my 9-year old daughter Abbey, I placed several signs in high-visibility areas around the perimeter of our set ups. It would have been difficult for someone to slip into our position without seeing the blaze orange signs. On the last day of our hunt, I filled my tag with a hefty gobbler as Abbey watched excitedly over my shoulder. Making memories in the field is priceless, and it was comforting to know that the odds of another hunter blundering into our location were greatly reduced thanks to careful placement of our Hunt Zone Signs.
