Outdoor Alabama Sweepstakes Offers Four-wheeler and More

A four-wheeler and a jon boat package are two of the prizes to be awarded in the Outdoor Alabama Sweepstakes, which runs August 22, 2011 through January 31, 2012. Entry is available at www.outdooralabama.com and comes automatically with the purchase of a 2011-2012 recreational hunting or fishing license. You may also enter without purchasing a license.
Conservation Commissioner N. Gunter Guy Jr. says the sweepstakes is a way of rewarding those who purchase a license or take the time to enter. “Of course, we want everyone to purchase a license. That’s how the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources receives most of its funding, but you can enter without purchasing anything.”
Guy said the prizes are available through the generosity of Montgomery Honda Yamaha, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Alumacraft, Minn Kota, McClain, Browning, Berretta and Bushnell. “The total value of all prizes is more than $10,000. I want to thank all of the sponsors for making this sweepstakes happen,” he said.
Only one entry per person is allowed, and it must be completed online. If you purchase a license online at www.outdooralabama.com, you are automatically entered unless you opt not to participate. If you purchase a license at a vendor, if you have a lifetime license or if you don’t want to purchase a license, you may enter by following the instructions online at www.outdooralabama.com
