The Leica Rangemaster CRF 1600 has won a Field & Stream 2011 “Best of the Best” Award for Best New Rangefinder.
According to F&S, “Leica’s Rangemaster CRF 1600 is small, compact, and easy to use. The weight was a good compromise between lightness and the heft needed to hold steady. The CRF provided repeated consistent readings out to 1,300 yards.”
Before a product earns recognition as “Best of the Best,” it must undergo field testing by F&S experts. In all, 150 products were tested, and 26 were deemed fit enough to earn “Best of the Best” honors.
“Field & Stream’s recognition of the Leica CRF 1600 is an acknowledgement to our brand tradition of outstanding product quality and innovation and to the efforts of our engineers and product development people,” says Terry Moore, vice president of Sport Optics for Leica Camera Inc.
The CRF 1600 is perfect for the hunter who wants a lightweight rangefinder with heavy duty performance. The impressively bright optics feature a 7x magnification and integrated diopter compensation, ideal for low-light conditions. The CRF offers a wide field of view, steady image and clear distance display leaving you with no doubt about whether or not to take the shot.
The Rangemaster CRF is held vertically making it easier to use for both left-handed and right-handed hunters. Weighing just 7.8 oz, the extremely lightweight and ergonomically designed rangefinder sits comfortably in the palm of your hand.
As its name suggests, the Rangemaster CRF 1600 measures accurately up to 1,600 yards and is incomparable for delivering complete, accurate information essential for a perfect shot.
