There are three models in the series, following Buck’s “good-better-best” pricing program. All have a 3-1/4″ drop-point blade, which opens so quickly and smoothly with its efficient blade-flipper, you’d think it’s an assisted-opener. Also providing the essential features and benefits, the 845 Vantage Force Select has a non- reflective blade made of Buck’s time-tested 420HC steel, with partial serration optional, and the handle is black glass-reinforced nylon, grooved for a sure grip. It weighs only 4.3 oz. MSRP, $60.
