GU Energy Introduces Peanut Butter and Peppermint Stick Gels

Berkeley, CA. October 24, 2011 – GU Energy Labs, creators of the original sports energy gel, is proud to announce the release of two dynamic gel flavors: Peanut Butter and Peppermint Stick.
Peanut Butter GU, made with natural crushed peanuts, offers athletes a savory alternative to the vastly sweet dominated gel landscape, while Peppermint Stick GU provides a crisp zing of minty-fresh fuel. Both new flavors of GU contain GU’s proprietary Amino Blend (Leucine, Valine, Histidine, Isoleucine) as well as Potassium, Vitamin C and Vitamin E and a touch of Herbal Blend (Chamomile and Ginger).
Both new flavors are caffeine-free and serve up GU’s optimal mix of complex and simple carbohydrates, branched-chain amino acids and antioxidants that are essential for sustained energy and enhanced recovery.
