Magnetic Marine Products Wins Best of Show in Tackle Management at ICAST 2012

Magnetic Marine Products, manufacturer of the Gear Grabbar, is excited to announce two new products to its line of magnetic fishing tackle management systems. These new offerings, the Lure Hangar and the Gear Grabbar Mini, allow fishermen to have the right lure within reach anywhere on their boat. The Lure Hangar Kit won Best of Show in Tackle Management in the New Product Showcase at ICAST this year.

The Lure Hangar is designed specifically to install either on the underside of compartment lids or hatches on any boat. A typical tackle box can be a tangled mess of lures, but the Lure Hangar easily keeps lures in place through the use of two magnets. Tackle remains secure yet quickly available, becoming a “visual tackle box”. The Lure Hangar is available in pairs which accommodate 5 lures and in a “kit” which contains four pairs of Lure Hangars to accommodate 20 lures. The kit includes a 6.5”x12” sheet of galvanized sheet metal which becomes the foundation that allows the Angler to customize and configure the Lure Hangars to accommodate any size lure, in any position, at any time.

The Gear Grabbar Mini is a new, smaller version of the popular Gear Grabbar launched in July of 2010. Measuring 6 inches in length it will accommodate 4 lures and offers a magnetic top shelf for hooks, jigs, even a tool. The smaller version was developed to fit in tight spaces, kayaks, canoes or anywhere space is limited; always keeping your gear within reach.
