Natural-looking colors give a cool, clean appearance to outdoor fabrics. In introducing the new Linen Line to its existing color pallet of WeatherMax 80 fabric, Safety Components has married extraordinary performance with sophisticated color tones.
“Our designers and technical team really achieved something with the WeatherMax Linen Line,” said John Pierce, WeatherMax product manager for Safety Components. “Without altering the fabric and its performance, the Linen Line has noticeable variations in color, similar to the effect seen with natural fibers like linen or wool.”
New Sandstone and Slate hues will appeal to boatbuilders and casual furniture companies, as well as awning and marine fabricators. Deck furniture, chaise lounges, biminis and patio shades fabricated from the Linen Line look elegant and stylish but hold up to the elements.
Water-resistant and highly breathable to prevent mold and mildew, WeatherMax 80 features an eco-friendly HydroMax finish. Completely recyclable, WeatherMax 80 is lightweight yet has twice the strength and six times the tear and abrasion resistance of acrylic.
WeatherMax 80 is guaranteed to retain its rich color for a minimum of five years, employing tightly woven, solution-dyed SaturaMax yarns.
The Linen Line joins a wide array of WeatherMax colors to complement any décor. WeatherMax 80 is now available in 22 colors and patterns.
