Larry and Brenda Potterfield, Founders of MidwayUSA, a catalog and internet retailer offering Just About Everything, for Shooting, Reloading, Gunsmithing and Hunting, have donated $700,000 to The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) for the group’s youth program, Shooting Access For Everyone (S.A.F.E.).
“RMEF is committed to supporting the interests of their youth,” says Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO, MidwayUSA. “The group is enthusiastic about expanding youth shooting opportunities within their chapters and they are demonstrating their commitment with the development of their S.A.F.E. program.”
The Potterfield family and RMEF have combined their efforts and have developed a new incentive for educating young people about the shooting sports. “The RMEF chapters are dedicated to their new program and are dedicated to getting the younger generation involved in conservation efforts,” he continues. “The S.A.F.E. program is a positive avenue for educating kids about the shooting sports. I truly feel that this program will enhance the experience of youth shooters; it has already reached so many of them.”
