Four Bears Break into Norwegian Cabin and Throw One Wild Party

The scene could have been one from either a comedy or horror movie: when a Norwegian family last left their cabin in country’s far north, they assumed the cabin walls were sturdy enough to keep bears out and away from the foodstuffs and beverages inside.
They were wrong.
The mother and grandmother of cabin owner Even Borthen Nilsen arrived at the cabin in Jarfjord in Finnmarken to find that something akin to a tornado had sucked up their food and beer stored in the cabin in their absence.
A mother bear and her three cubs smashed the wall down to get in and then went on a feasting spree, chowing down on chocolate spread, honey (of course), marshmallows and 100 cans of beer before the feast was over, according to The Local.
In their wake, the bears left dirty paw prints, urine, feces, trash and broken possessions everywhere.
“They had a hell of a party in there.” Nilsen told the local Finnmarken.no daily. “The entire cabin was destroyed… The beds and all kitchen appliances, stove, oven and cupboards and shelves were all smashed to pieces.”
Nilsen’s biggest fear is that the bears will return. “The mother has taken her young there, thus there is no guarantee that it won’t happen to other cabins, or to our hut again,” he said.
