Because the last 1874 NRA Edition Shiloh Sharps Quigley Rifle (donated by Shiloh Rifle Manufacturing) has been sold. And the sale of those rifles have raised more than $500,000 for the shooting sports (and Friends of NRA).

“We are extremely pleased with the success of the Shiloh donation and sponsor program,” said Kyle Weaver, Managing Director of NRA Field Operations. “Their valuable contribution not only generates a tremendous amount of money for the shooting sports, but helps further the Friends of NRA brand.”

Now for the specs:

  • Program launch in 2010
  • 50 rifles donated by Shiloh
  • Chambered in .45-110
  • Engraved “NRA” encircled with a gold oval inlay
  • Signed by actor and NRA Board Member Tom Selleck

“With a committed group of sponsors, volunteers and companies like Shiloh, who share our passion for freedom, Friends of NRA is leading the way in ensuring that every generation will be able to enjoy the shooting sports,” said John DaSilva, National Manager of Events and Marketing for NRA Field Operations.

Friends of NRA is a grassroots fund-raising program that fosters community involvement, raises money, and gives 100% of the net proceeds to qualified local, state, and national programs. Working with the NRA’s field staff, thousands of volunteers nationwide participate in the program by organizing committees and planning events in their communities.
