Outdoor Indiana Magazine Features Rev. Peyton
Outdoor Indiana magazine’s September-October issue marries the outdoors and music with an article on the namesake of The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band.
The band released its “Between the Ditches” album earlier this month.
Readers will learn how the Brown County-based national recording and touring musician/vocalist meshes his love of the Hoosier outdoors lifestyle with his lyrics and country-blues music.
The 48-page full-color magazine also includes a cover feature on surfing Indiana’s portion of Lake Michigan, a chilly pursuit that can result in an icicle beard.

Shades State Park, the most primitive state park in Indiana, is featured in an eight-page removable insert. That article continues the magazine’s series in which one state park or reservoir property will be portrayed through 2016, the 100th anniversary of Indiana state parks.
