America Votes Brotherhood Outdoors Best Combination Show on Sportsman Channel

Nashville, TN—The Union Sportsmen’s Alliance’s (USA) nationally broadcast hunting and fishing TV Show, Brotherhood Outdoors, took home a 2011 Sportsman Choice Award for Best Combination Show last week during the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) show.
Winners were revealed Wednesday, January 18 in front of a crowd of 800 of the industry’s leading producers, personalities and sponsors during the Sportsman Channel’s annual awards ceremony at Pure Nightclub in Ceasar’s Palace, Las Vegas.
Narrowed by Sportsman Channel producers to five finalists in seven categories, the voice of the American sportsman was heard as viewers logged more than 140,000 votes to determine this year’s winners. Competitors in the Best Combination Show category included Beau Knows Outdoors, Coming Home with Greg Stube, G3 Sportsman and Respect Outdoors.

Hosted by noted outdoorsman Tom Ackerman and produced by Warm Springs Productions, Brotherhood Outdoors is a unique outdoor TV series that pairs union worker’s commitment to their communities with their love for the great outdoors. These deserving, blue-collar characters are rewarded with a guided hunting or fishing trip in North America or the opportunity to show off their skills by taking host Tom Ackerman to their own honey holes.
Currently in its second season, Brotherhood Outdoors airs at 8 p.m. E/P every Thursday.
