Benelli On Assignment: Barbary Wild Boar in Tunisia

This week on BOA, host, Joe Coogan meets up with his old friend and former editor of Petersen’s Hunting Magazine, Craig Boddington. They journey to the North African country of Tunisia to hunt Barbary wild boar with outfitter Eric von Eckhardt. For driven boars they use Benelli SBE II Slug Guns and some newly developed slug ammo by Federal Premium.

Besides Tunisia’s crafty Barbary wild boars, Coogan and Boddington discover a friendly country rich in ancient Roman history.  In between hunts, they visit the Kasserine Pass, site of a major WW II battle that took place in 1943 when the untested Allied Forces first faced German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, known as “The Desert Fox.” The Allied Forces defeat at Kasserine Pass brought about major changes in command and tactics among the U.S. Forces.

Tune in to Outdoor Channel to see BOA airing Thursdays at 9:30 am (EST) and 3 pm and repeated on Saturdays at 11:30 am.
