Indiana’s Pokagon SP to Host Annual Seaplane Splash-In, Sept. 23
Pokagon State Park and the Potawatomi Inn will host the Indiana Seaplane Pilots Association’s annual Seaplane Splash-In, Sunday, Sept. 23.
Pilots from around the Midwest will be flying in seaplanes, landing on Lake James, and rolling up onto the inn’s front lawn. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., park visitors may view planes, visit with pilots, and sign up for free-ride drawings. To participate as a pilot and for more information, visit seaplanepilots.org/inspa.
All activities take place on the beach and lawn area at the inn. The event is free; however the standard, daily, park entrance fee of $5 per in-state vehicle and $7 per out-of-state vehicle is required.
