BOW to Host Birding Workshop in Nebraska

Lincoln, NE– The Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program will host a birding workshop March 3 from 9-11 a.m. at Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium. Naomi Alhadeff of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will teach participants techniques for birding, including bird identification.

The workshop is open to women age 12 and up. The cost is $10 and registration is required. Contact Julia Plugge at 402-471-6009 or julia.plugge@nebraska.gov.

The aquarium is located south of Gretna at 21502 W. Nebraska Hwy. 31.
