Colt’s Manufacturing Sponsored Shooters Succeed at Final 3-Gun Nation Pro Series Qualifying Event

Colt’s Manufacturing Company LLC is proud to recognize two of its sponsored shooters for their outstanding performances at this past weekend’s final qualifying event in the 3-Gun Nation Pro Series. Clint Upchurch placed first in the Open Division, and junior shooter Cody Leeper placed fourth in the Tact-Optics division and was ranked the high junior shooter in the competition.
“This has been a very exciting year for the sport of 3-Gun shooting and for our sponsored shooters,” said Joyce Rubino, Vice President of Marketing for Colt’s Manufacturing. “The popularity of the sport has grown exponentially, and the company is thrilled to support 3-Gun events and to see our own 3-Gun shooters, Clint and Cody, doing so well in the competitions.”
With his win this weekend, Upchurch qualifies to compete at the 2012-2013 “Rumble on the Range,” the 3-Gun Nation Championship Finale that will be held during the 2013 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nev. The top 32 shooters from the weekend’s 2012 3-Gun Nation Pro Series are all eligible for the competition in Las Vegas.
“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to compete in Rumble on the Range,” said Upchurch. “You can’t ask for a more fun and exciting way to close out the 2012 season than shooting in the 3-Gun finale during SHOT Show.”
The 2012 3-Gun Nation Pro Series Event #5 took place Sept. 20-22 at the Peacemaker National Training Center in West Virginia. Colt’s Manufacturing is a sponsor of the Peacemaker facility and was a gold level sponsor of the weekend’s event.
