PrimaLoft, the world leader in high performance insulations and yarns used in leading outdoor and fashion brands, home furnishings, work wear and military applications, will host The North Face Speaker Series streaming live from Berkeley, California, on October 10th, at 7:00 p.m. PST (10:00 p.m. EST).
Viewers can watch the event, which is based on the famed climb of the East Face of India’s Mount Meru, live at PrimaLoft.com and on Facebook.com/PrimaLoft.
This North Face Speaker Series special event features three top athletes from The North Face team including: American rock climber, mountaineer, and author Conrad Anker, professional climber, mountaineer, skier, director and photographer Jimmy Chin and climber and filmmaker Renan Ozturk. In 2011, these three athletes came to successfully summit the East Face of India’s Mount Meru.
For 2012, The North Face Speaker Series features eight top athletes from The North Face team including: ski mountaineer Hilaree O’Neill, extreme skier Ingrid Backstrom, alpinist Conrad Anker, ultra-runner Diane Van Deren, alpinist and photographer Jimmy Chin, alpinist and photographer Cory Richards, rock climber Emily Harrington, and rock climber and filmmaker Renan Ozturk. The tour, targeting 25 various venues and events throughout the United States and Canada, looks to bring new perspectives on adventure sports and outdoor athletic lifestyles.
