Summit Distribution Announces New Vice President of Sales

East Norwich, NY– Summit Distribution, a leading muti-channel distributor servicing nationwide to independent, internet, and large format retailers, announced today that Scott Parr has joined the company as its new Vice President of Sales. Scott has been instrumental in building successful sales organizations in both global apparel/outdoor gear enterprises and innovative, emerging companies. With over 20 years of recreational experience in sales, marketing and business leadership, Scott brings a proven track record of helping companies grow and develop new markets.
Prior to joining Summit, Scott held positions at Dorel Apparel Footwear Group (AFG) – a division of Dorel Industries as Vice President of Sales, and at Jansport – a division of VF Corporation as Director of Sales.
Scott will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans, initially focusing on building and developing a sales and customer service team that will ensure Summit’s growth objectives are achieved going forward.
