Invasive Species Threat Campaign Slogan: Wanted Dead, Not Alive

They are unified, coordinated, and proving to be very powerful in a united front in the battle against invasive species. From coast to coast, anti-invasive species partners are signing up to join the Threat Campaign in a unique collaborative multimedia effort to educate hunters and anglers about the threats of invasive species and how to stop them in their tracks.
“Conserving America’s fish and wildlife heritage by preventing the spread of invasive species is more critical today than ever before”, said Douglas H. Grann, Wildlife Forever, President and CEO. “Our new slogan, “Wanted Dead, NOT Alive” is the battle cry of ten’s of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts’.”
Last year, Threat Campaign partners worked together to reach over 171 Million media impressions pushing the six year cumulative total to 890 million strong, educating America. Through targeted marketing of a unique television series called “Silent Invaders”, highway billboards, magazines ads, newspapers, even bumper stickers, the partnership has spread the Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers! message to outdoor recreationists.
“This campaign has grown into a tremendous success story. Working together across state lines, federal agencies, media organizations and the outdoor industry, the Threat Campaign is one of America’s greatest partnerships”, said Pat Conzemius, Program Manager for Wildlife Forever.
