Moon Shine Attitude Attire Joins Circle Sport to Go Pink at Kansas

Circle Sport, LLC, today announced that Moon Shine, LP, a premium designer of Moon Shine Attitude Attire, will mark its first NASCAR sponsorship this weekend at Kansas Speedway by turning the familiar No. 33 pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its Muddy Girl Camouflage pattern. Cole Whitt, the 21-year-old development driver for the Dale Earnhardt Jr.-owned JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, will pilot the No. 33 Moon Shine Attitude Attire Chevrolet in Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400.

“We are honored that Circle Sport has given us this prime means to further brand our product line. Moonshine was the start of all motorsports and that played a part in the reasoning for our company name,” stated Moon Shine LP president Travis Mattern. “In the past we have focused our marketing efforts in the outdoor industry, but through 2012 we have done a lot more in the motorsports industry and it has been successful. The diversity of our company leaves the door open to endless possibilities and this opportunity with Circle Sport is a perfect example of that.”

Whitt will attempt to qualify for his sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race of the 2012 season on the newly re-surfaced Kansas Speedway in addition to his primary duties behind the wheel of the No. 88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. The No. 33 team will take advantage of a two-day test session at Kansas Speedway in advance of this weekend’s race and will continue to be led by three-time Daytona 500 championship crew chief Tony Glover.

“When we saw the Moon Shine logo, it immediately clicked that they had a brand intended for NASCAR,” stated Circle Sport team owner Joe Falk. “They have an image that will connect with NASCAR’s fan base and plays to the roots of the sport. The Muddy Girl Camouflage pattern is not only visually appealing but it will also help draw additional attention to National Breast Cancer Awareness month, which is an initiative that the entire NASCAR community has embraced.”

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Hollywood Casino 400 will be broadcast live on ESPN from Kansas Speedway on Sunday, October 21st with pre-race coverage beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
