This week on Student of the Gun: Ballistic Pumpkin Carving, the Rhino Revolver, and the M40 Sniper Rifle

This week on Student of the Gun we’ll cover a lot of ground in one episode.  We travel to Ohio for some Ballistic Pumpkin Carving and late night Zombie Hunting.  During our “Not Your Average Gun Owner” segment we talk with Mary Weddington, a recent convert to the shooting community, and discuss her journey toward becoming a Student of the Gun.

In the cool hardware department we’ll closely examine the Rhino .357 Magnum revolver one of the stars of the recent Total Recall movie.  Paul dons his ghillie suit for a close examination of the M40 precision rifle, the primary tool of Marine Corps snipers.

Finally, for those who understand that you need more than just guns and ammo to survive a crisis, we look into long term storage food and how to prepare it in the field.  Watch this segment closely for emergency fire starting tips and some “prepper ninja” tools.
