Every journey begins with the first step. To win a trip to the 2013 Bassmaster Classic, that first step is to enter the Destination Classic Spin ’N’ Win sweepstakes. The Grand Prize is a trip for two to the “Super Bowl” of bass fishing, which will be held in Tulsa, Okla., Feb. 22-24.
The field of 53 anglers is finalized. Classic qualifiers will be vying for a first-place payday of $500,000, the most coveted trophy in sportfishing and a piece of bass fishing immortality. The winner of the sweepstakes will be on hand to see this year’s champ make history.
“This is a new approach for us on Bassmaster.com,” said Jim Sexton, vice president of digital for B.A.S.S. “The spin to win has instant gratification in that you know immediately whether you’ve won something or not. There are daily prizes plus the big prize at the end. We’ve got a lot of great products that every angler will love.”
Participants can register and play the Spin ’N’ Win game daily from now through Dec. 21. In addition to the Bassmaster Classic package, more than 1,000 prizes will be given away, including a B.A.S.S. Gear Pack, a Bass Pro Shops Gift Card, Abu Garcia Orra Reels, Spiderwire Ultracast Invisi-Braid line, Trilene XL, LIVETARGET Hollow Body Frog Lures, and a Yo-Zuri Sashimi Suspending Jerkbait.
