Woolrich, the Original Outdoor Clothing Company, recently delivered $50,000 worth of jackets, shirts, and blankets to support the families impacted by the Hurricane Sandy. Woolrich worked with Hope NYC to deliver the products to the heavily damaged Far Rockaway, NY area.
“We hope that the garments and blankets we sent bring some warmth and comfort to those so deeply affected by Sandy,” said Nick Brayton, president of Woolrich.
Woolrich was connected with Hope NYC by Times Square Church (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) who was coordinating efforts with Federal Emergency Management Authority (FEMA) and local and state governments to meet the needs of those hardest hit throughout New York.
“There is still more work to do, and this donation will help bring great comfort to the people who were hit the hardest,” said Paul Molina, Times Square Church Outreach Volunteer.
