Pronghorn Shot in North Dakota’s Morton County

Law enforcement authorities are looking for information in the illegal killing of at least two pronghorn that were shot and left along County Road 83 northwest of Mandan in Morton County. Based on the scene, it is possible more pronghorn were killed.

North Dakota Game and Fish Department district game warden Jeff Violett said the incident took place Sunday morning during opening weekend of the deer gun season.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Game and Fish Department’s enforcement office in Bismarck at (701) 328-6604, or the Report All Poachers telephone number at (800) 472-2121.

The RAP line has offered a $1,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction. Callers can remain anonymous.
