Video: Three Deer Join the Horse Races in Pittsburgh

Maybe the deer that crossed the fence in the racetrack in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, December 28 just wanted to see what all the commotion was all about. For a few short minutes before the race, three deer jumped into the track to run around merrily. They surely weren’t there to race as they ran in a line along the fence, then turned around to run in unison in the opposite direction.

Veteran announcer Roger Huston at the Meadows Racetrack in Washington County couldn’t think of any other deer names besides Rudolph and Bambi and so he began calling the race as he saw it, with Bambi in the lead. The horse race was just about to start, but the racetrack took a “deer event” delay.
