Irish Setter Wingshooter Upland Hunting Boots Feature Rich Leathers

   05.31.11

Irish Setter GunflintRED WING, MN (December 2010) — Supple, rich brown leather and black Prairie outsole offer another variation within Irish Setter’s Wingshooter line of upland hunting boots. The classic styling is complemented with tonal stitching in these new styles.

These non-insulated Irish Setter Wingshooters feature UltraDry waterproof construction and the famous Irish Setter Prairie sole (in black) that provides excellent traction while avoiding the weight and bulk of deeper cleats that can get clogged with mud and catch on weeds and brush. The darker sole is often preferred by southern hunters. Style #807 has a multi-purpose height of seven inches with a suggested retail of $149. A similar style #808 is available in a 9” height for $159.

“Upland hunting boots are our heritage. We keep freshening our offering to meet the needs of today’s hunters,” explained Mark Dinndorf, Director of Irish Setter Product and Marketing for Red Wing Shoe Company.

The new Wingshooters will be available in July 2011 at leading outdoor retailers. Visit www.irishsetterboots.com for the retailer nearest you.
