Network Offers Most Innovative Program Mix Ever for America’s Millions of Sportsmen & Women
Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, announced its 2013 first quarter program lineup headlined by new and returning series that appeal to the diverse interests of today’s American sportsmen and women. The new lineup expands the network’s drive to present more of the lifestyle of people who love – and live – to hunt, shoot and fish, including stories about travel, adventure, survival, cooking & eating, work, family, collecting and more.
The new lineup is being launched under the campaign theme “United Sportsmen of America,” which highlights the incredible range of interests, passions and characters in the world of the nation’s largest lifestyle group. It is a lifestyle that includes millions of men, women and children; locations from big city ponds, local farms and town forests to remote mountain ridges, vast oceans, and jungle rivers; and stories from raising families and running businesses to surviving in the wild and serving the nation.
The “United Sportsmen of America” first quarter lineup is packed with more than 100 programs, including 27 brand-new series and popular returning series like Fly Fishing the World, Dropped: Project Yukon, In-Fisherman, NRA’s Guns & Gold, Dead Meat, PigMan: The Series, MeatEater and more.

The lineup is presented in the network’s nightly themed prime-time programming blocks, delivering the most compelling and entertaining outdoor lifestyle and adventure programming available on television, including:
Lock & Load Monday (8-11pm ET/PT): This primetime block is television’s premiere location for the most informative and authoritative source for recreational shooting, hunting and collecting enthusiasts, headlined by the ultimate in gun authority, NRA’s Guns & Gold, long-time favorite Guns & Ammo, and Hot Shots.
Realtree Hunting Camp Tuesday (8-11pm ET/PT): Offering the most adventurous and thrilling hunting and lifestyle adventures headlined by Dropped: Project Yukon, Elite Archery’s Name the Game and Savage Outdoors
Big Game Wednesday (8-11pm ET/PT): No other primetime block offers the big game adventures offered in Big Game Wednesday, headlined by the ultimate series for all things whitetail, North American Whitetail.
Thursday Trailblazers (8-11pm ET/PT): Our Thursday Trailblazers continually test their own limits – and those of their prey – with a powerful mix of tenacity, sill and pure guts. Meet the determinators headlined by Outlander Limited Draw, Petersen’s Hunting and Predator Nation.
