2013 High School Fishing National Championship Headed to Beaver Lake
FLW and The Bass Federation (TBF) have announced the 2013 High School Fishing Schedule. High school teams may enter online at HighSchoolFishing.org for their chance to win a $10,000 scholarship in the High School Fishing National Championship. High School Fishing tournaments are open to all ninth-, 10th-, 11th- and 12th-grade students, including home-schooled students, who are members of the Student Angler Federation.
Trophies and commemorative High School Fishing jerseys are awarded to the winners at each state championship. The winning team from each state championship will advance to a High School Fishing Conference Championship in the fall of 2013. Boats are provided upon request at all Conference Championships. The winning team from each Conference Championship will receive trophies and commemorative jerseys, and advance to the 2014 High School Fishing National Championship, held in the spring. Each member of the winning High School Fishing National Championship team will receive a $5,000 scholarship to use at the university of his or her choice. Teams participating in the Conference Championships and National Championship will also receive a travel allowance to help offset their expenses. Student Angler Federation (SAF) membership is $25 per year.

2013 Murray State Open
$2,000 in scholarships to be awarded to the winning team. This tournament is open to all Student Angler Federation members.
Date: Sunday, March 3 Location: Kentucky Lake, Murray, Ky.
2013 High School Fishing National Championship
Winners from each of the five 2012 High School Fishing Conference Championships compete for $10,000 in scholarships.
Date: Sunday, April 21 with the College Fishing Championship Location: Beaver Lake, Rogers, Ark.
2013 High School Fishing World Finals
Open to all Student Angler Federation members
Dates: July 15-20 Location: TBA
Central Conference Championship
Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, West Virginia and Wisconsin state champions
Date: Saturday, Oct. 12 with a BFL Regional Location: Kentucky Lake, Gilbertsville, Ky.
Northern Conference Championship
Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia state champions
Date: Saturday, Oct. 5 with a BFL Regional Location: Chesapeake Bay, North East, Md.
Southeastern Conference Championship
Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee state champions
Date: Saturday, Oct. 12 with a BFL Regional Location: Lake Lanier, Gainesville, Ga.
Southern Conference Championship
Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas state champions
Date: Saturday, Oct. 19 with a BFL Regional Location: Lake Texoma, Pottsboro, Texas
Western Conference Championship
