The Browning A-Bolt III: High Performance at a Great Price

Browning’s all-new A-Bolt III bolt-action rifle is the company’s value-priced rifle, which promises to deliver the company’s famous looks and performance at a moderate price of $599.99 (MSRP).

The A-Bolt III is offered in four calibers: .270 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, 7mm Remington Magnum and .300 Winchester Magnum. The barrels for standard calibers measure 22 inches, while the magnum-chambered barrels measure 26-inches.

This rifle features a quick-detach magazine, a soft Inflex recoil pad, a tang safety. Hunters will also like an additional feature on the A-Bolt III: When its safety is on, simply press an unlock button on the bolt, and safely jack the round out of the chamber with the safety still on. That’s a feature Browning doesn’t offer on the A-Bolt, but it is on the X-bolt.
