Last Chance to Purchase Michigan Spring Turkey Applications is Feb. 1

The Department of Natural Resources reminds hunters that the deadline for purchasing spring turkey hunting applications is fast approaching. The last day to purchase an application is Friday, Feb 1.

The application fee is $4. Hunters may apply for one limited-quota hunting license, or purchase a license for spring turkey Hunt 234. Hunt 234 licenses are available now through May 1 and do not require the $4 application fee.

Applications and licenses may be purchased at any authorized license agent or online at www.mdnr-elicense.com.

Applicants can – beginning March 1 – check whether they were drawn for a license at www.michigan.gov/huntdrawings. Any leftover licenses will be sold until the quota is met in each hunt unit and hunt period.

More information about spring turkey hunting can be found at www.michigan.gov/turkey.
