MidwayUSA Celebrates NWTF 40th Anniversary as Official Sponsor

For 40 years, the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) continues to be one of the industry’s biggest supporters of youth education and wildlife preservation. Because they share the same passion, MidwayUSA once again has stepped up to be the Official Sponsor of the Annual NWTF Convention and Sport Show which kicks off Friday, February 15 running through Sunday, February 17.
The convention once again will be hosted at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN. Each day over 650 exhibitor booths will be open, featuring products and services from a variety of industry companies. Other activities include live auctions, celebrity autograph sessions and daily seminars beginning on Friday.
If you’re looking for some live entertainment, country music group Sawyer Brown will perform for guests at the Welcome Party on Thursday, February 14, and Craig Morgan, who most recently was honored with the Humanitarian Award at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas earlier this month, will perform at the Grand Banquet Saturday, February 16. The awards banquet is also sponsored by MidwayUSA.
Back again for 2013 is the Youth Wildlife Conservation Experience (YWCE). The YWCE is a collaborative effort between the Potterfield family, who began funding the program in 2011, and key conservation groups like NWTF, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Wild Sheep Foundation and several others. Since inception, this program has helped introduce over 1,000 school-aged students to wildlife conservation, outdoor education and the shooting sports.
