The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) announced recently that Tom Wondrash has been appointed National Director of the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and will be responsible for all SCTP operations moving forward.
Tom has been involved in the SCTP Program for over 10 years now. He started as a Volunteer Head Coach, moved on to become a State Advisor and most recently held the position of Director of Development for the entire North Central Region.
“Tom brings many years of successful team and athlete development to his new position and through his leadership the North Central Region has grown to comprise over 60 % of our current shotgun program,” stated SSSF Executive Director, Dan Hathaway. “Tom will join Scholastic Pistol Program National Director, Scott Moore, as part of our Senior Management Team and we’re very pleased to have him on board.”
Scott Moniot, formerly SCTP State Adviser in Kansas, has been selected to replace Mr. Wondrash as North Central Region Director of Development for the SCTP Program.
The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) is responsible for all aspects of the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Scholastic Pistol Program (SPP) across the United States, including participant registration, coaches, state coordinators, state and national championships, promotion, communications, websites, public relations and growth strategies. The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation exists to raise funding and other resources for Youth Development Programs in the shooting sports industry.
SCTP and SPP are youth development programs, originally developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), where adult coaches and volunteers model sportsmanship, responsibility, honesty, ethics, integrity, and teamwork while using shooting sports programs to teach these and other positive life skills to the athletes.
