People interested in learning how to ice fish are invited to a free Ice Fishing Seminar presented by Colorado Parks and Wildlife on Saturday, March 2 in Pueblo.
The seminar is limited to the first 15 people who register, so call now to reserve a spot.
The class is a basic “Ice Fishing 101” aimed at novice anglers who are new to the sport.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife will supply the fishing equipment, but anglers need to bring a lunch and make sure they dress in warm layers to stay comfortable on the ice.
A valid Colorado fishing license is required.

WHO: Families, friends, and individuals who want
to get outside in the winter
WHEN: Saturday, March 2 @ 8 a.m.
WHERE: Meet at the Hunter Education Building at 2600 W. Mesa Ave. in Pueblo.
COST: Free
TO BE PROVIDED: Fishing poles and all gear needed to learn to ice fish. Participants do not need to bring their own poles, but can if they wish.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: Warm clothing (dress in layers) snacks and water, fishing license (Children under 16 are not required to have a fishing license).
