Dean Partridge hosts a milestone episode of Hunting Canada and Beyond (HCAB) this week on the Pursuit Channel. HCAB’s 100th show is a partial rewind covering the transformation of host Jason Petersen’s career, from well-respected hunting and fishing guide to freelance videographer and producer. There’s everything from breakthrough footage of giant Canada mule deer, to musk oxen with Elite archery gear, to stalking Asiatic bulls in the South Pacific.
“Our leap into the American television market this year with the Pursuit Channel is providing incredible social media feedback,” said Petersen, host/producer of HCAB. “This episode will give our new American audience a sense of where we came from, who we are and what we hope to accomplish.”

After exclusively entertaining Canadian audiences for eight seasons, HCAB TV now delivers its over-the-shoulder, as-it-happens style of outdoor television to the U.S. market via the Pursuit Channel. HCAB focuses on outstanding examples of big-game the world over, the tradition of hunting and the outdoors family. More than 90-percent of HCAB adventures are DIY and HCAB’s strategic alliance with Canadian Whitetails Television offers cross promotional opportunities that are second to none.
